With the intent of advancing the cause of Peripheral Nerve Block education and practice in the Philippines, Aesculap Academy (AA) has partnered with the Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists, Inc. (PSA) in order to bring a new course to healthcare practitioners this 2016.

The partnership between the two entities was strengthened with a memorandum of agreement signed last October 29, 2015 by PSA President Ma. Concepcion Cruz and Lih Chyun Yeong, Managing Director of B. Braun Medical Supplies, Inc.  Also present during the signing were Dr. Samantha Claire Braganza and Dr. Angelo Gomez from PSA, Infusion Therapy Group Business Unit Head Jay Divinagracia, AA Manager Raul Lasquety, Anesthesia Surgery Product Manager Roderick Obispo, Junior Product Manager Jocelyn Pahang, National Sales Manager John Molina, and Regional Sales Manager Judy Padolina.

Under the memorandum of agreement, PSA and AA will cooperate in planning, organizing, and conducting a one-day Module Development Session on Peripheral Nerve Block on November 17, 2015, and a three-day Beginner’s Course on Peripheral Nerve Block, which will span from January to December 2016.
